(Note:You do not have to be a member of the group to submit to the contest folder. If for some reason you have difficulty submitting it, send the group a note and we will request it for you. Only contest entries will be accepted to the folder, however.) Official Contest Guidelines: You
must use at least two required stocks in your photomanipulation. One stock from any gallery in
The-Stock-Directory and one stock from
freestock.ca (Note: freestock.ca is a free stock resource website created by our member boldfrontiers ) The contest entry should also include:
- A Landscape and Architecture stock (partial or whole)
- Either a model or an animal (or both)
Only
one entry per person will be accepted.
Please put in your artists comments: "This was created for

All stock resources must be properly credited to be accepted into the contest. (All entries will be checked for stock proper stock crediting before they are accepted. Don't know how to credit your stock resources? Check out this tutorial:fav.me/d4f4ymh )
Considering that this contest is open to our youngest members, submissions containing nudity, sexual themes, or extreme violence/gore will not be accepted. Mild violence or battle scenes between good and evil are acceptable, but let's try to keep it PG-13 for our younger contestants.

must come from valid
stock resources. (This means: No celebrities, copyrighted images, Google Image, Flickr, Photobucket, Wiki, etc. images will be accepted.)

Problems with Stock ResourcesLock, Stock, and Barrel
It unfortunately appears that it is once again time to talk about proper stock resources again. I'll be addressing this in this week's CEA Update but I wanted to discuss it a bit informally here first.
I have a hope that some day the issue of stock resources will get straightened out because it really is not as complicated or as confusing as many people are currently forcing it to be, but I guess the nature of the internet pushes people to simply pull the old smash and grab.
I'm going to run down a brief listing of the various problems and pit falls currently affecting the issue of stock resources in general.

Now we all know there are a good number of legitimate, legal stock resource sites out there with some being free and some being pay sites. A good chunk of you all can name them off the top of your head so I won't bother to list them myself.
